Blakefield South Ventilation System

vent system

After 4 years, and a great effort by all involved, the complete Ventilation System at Blakefield kicked into operation this month.

In what turned out to be a difficult and challenging project which involved the manufacture of 2 off switchroom’s, 6 off 1.3 Megawatt Variable Speed Drives and 300 kilowatts of air conditioning we managed to produce an end product that in the words of the client “… a job they were very happy with…

We have come a long way over the period of this project and working alongside Blakefield, amongst others, has helped us to “raise the bar” giving us the enviable mantle of Industry Leader in Customised Mining Equipment.

However, the effort was not limited to those mentioned as the fabrication, installation and commissioning personnel all worked hard to achieve the end results.

Many Thanks

Ian Bates and Matthew Dennis
